I’m excited to offer City of Parramatta residents a highly qualified and enthusiastic team to genuinely represent you on Council and put residents and integrity first.

When elected, they will bring my engaged, evidence based and transparent leadership style to Epping, North Rocks and Rosehill Wards.

The Community Champions team has a proven track record of advocating for our community and the skills and experience to deliver positive change for our City.

Our Priorities

The Community Champions team is focused on making sure Council does the ‘basics’ really well, from quickly filling potholes and cleaning our town centres to consistently great customer service and providing a fabulous network of open spaces.

We are working on our neighbourhoods and CBD being more vibrant, safer, healthier and enjoyable so we are all proud to call City of Parramatta home.

We want to see our City be a leader in creating resilient, sustainable and connected communities.

Sustainable Development

With Parramatta’s population set to double in the next 15 years, it’s vitally important community infrastructure keeps pace with the increasing density.

Transparency

The decisions of Council affect our daily lives far more than most of us realise. That’s why it’s so important you are kept up-to-date on Council matters and actively involved in shaping our city.

Vibrant Suburbs

A lot of focus has been on developing Parramatta CBD. But this has come at the expense of livening up our suburbs. Now’s the time to refocus our efforts on making our local town centres more vibrant and improving the liveability of our suburbs.

Parks & Open Spaces

To support our growing and diverse community, we must have a complementary network of fun and safe community spaces for all ages and different interests.

City in Nature

The waterways and bushland criss-crossing our River City go to the heart of what makes our City great. But with the pressures of increasing population density, our natural environment must be preserved and cared for.

Customer Service

Residents who are listened to and informed are much more likely to care for, and be engaged, in their community. It’s important to get the basics right and ensure requests are dealt with in a timely manner.

Waste Less

What a load of rubbish! We’re spending more on disposing of our waste each year and it’s just not sustainable nor economical to keep going this way. More needs to be done to support residents to reduce what we send to landfill.

Climate Action

Take action to mitigate and build resilience to the impacts of our changing climate on residents and our natural environment.
