🛒 Is it just me or are there a growing number of shopping trolleys on our footpaths…. and ending up in our creeks?🤦 PLEASE join me in reporting them via Snap Send Solve or using the specific apps for Woolworths (Trolley Tracker app) or Coles (Coles app)

⚠️ Under the new Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Bill 2021, which came into effect on 1st May, shopping trolley owners now have 3 hours to remove trolleys when they’re an obstruction or safety risk, and 4 days when they’re interfering with public amenity. After that time, Council can issue fines of $660 per trolley to a maximum of $2,640 for multiple trolleys at one location.

Where have you been noticing abandoned shopping trolleys?
